Is the healthcheck start_period too short?

We had someone on Discord whose install would never come up. Eventually they found that if they removed the depends lines from the compose file it worked. They ultimately were able to get those lines to work if they changed all of the start_period lines to 120s.

I'm not sure what the benefit of making it fail within 30 seconds on startup is, a long but consistent period might be safer?
