Notification spam on battery low

Should just push a single notification

I'm wondering why only dunst handles this perfectly, 100% all the time.
Swaync also had this issues. I don't know whats wrong in here

-r, --replace-id=REPLACE_ID The ID of the notification to replace.

I don't know how/why. All I know is it is better to use libnotify for this. Do you know how to read dbus for notif?

Edit the file. It's flagged preserved.

That's expected.the -r 6 is used to override the drawn overlay (notification ). Try spamming it.

This way, when the notification daemon receives a new notification from the same id, it should re-render the overlay, and shouldn't spam multiple notification overlays.

The unexpected behavior here is the spamming of multiple overlays with the same ID. Dunst never have these issues with libnotify.

Good reference. Looks like we can add a hint type to make swaync robust, and hopefully hydepanel's notification daemon. I hope other notif daemons will just ignore undefined hints so we can easily support more notif daemons.
