Maintaining the plugin can be kind of a hassle since keepass does not offer any way to keep it up-to-date

Describe the solution you'd like
I suggest implementing a chocolatey installer/updater for the plugin.

Have a look at this keepass plugin that implements a chocolatey package: https://github.com/sirAndros/KeePassWinHello
It can pretty much be copied as is with only minor changes
