Hello,
I have successfully installed libfreenect2 on my Ubuntu workstation.
Distributor ID: Ubuntu
Description: Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS
Release: 22.04
product: OptiPlex 5090 from DELL
It works fine for one kinect.
I would like to know what is the best way to work with multiple kinects plugged in to the same computer.
I prefer to use python and i have already installed freenect2.
Thank you.

I realize it has been a year, but just for information's sake, there isn't an easy work around to have two kinects plugged into the same computer. The prevailing workaround is having at least two machines, and USB extensions. Be aware that signal drop off is an issue when running data further away, making up a number... but call it 20ft (6m). Ideally, have two machines near the kinects and then run the data back via network to a central control computer.
