What are we going to do in the future?

You can install from https://community.r-multiverse.org/httpgd

This does happen with worryingly regularity. I’m very grateful for the slick graphics backend provided by unigd/httpgd. (Underscored for me recently by the fact that Positron’s graphics window is still very fragile and breaks for many standard plots.) But I wonder whether the unigd maintainer might consider onboarding one or two people to help catch these deprecations earlier in the cycle?

FYI

Have to resubmit - they don't want us to require C++14 anymore (as it's the default in newer R versions). A bit odd, and might break old R installations.
