Is Seldon Batch Processor compatible with V2 models (implemented via MLServer)?
I've found no evidence from the documentation, yet, the input/output format looks V2 uncompliant.

Hi @MattiaGallegati, this is not currently supported as of this moment. The Seldon Batch Processor works only with seldon v1 protocol.

Thank you @RafalSkolasinski . I'm trying to adopt Seldon in an enterprise context. If I can suggest some improvement the incompatibility between V1 and V2 is causing some problems in terms of adoption, since V1 has some feature that V2 does not have and viceversa. The batch processor is another example.

@adriangonz
Will this be another feature of V2?
From a "time perspective" do you have some evidence about how long will take for V2 to superseed V1?

Thank you for the great work and for the support.

Hey @MattiaGallegati ,

The idea is that they converge in the long term, but it's hard to speak of timelines.

Your feedback is really helpful so that we prioritise which things to bring up to speed with the V2 protocol though.
