Indicate if a video is already in a local playlist

Feature description

I want the feed to indicate that a particular video has already been added to the playlist. This could either be in the form of an icon or different background color or font.

Another way could be to have 'Already added / Remove from playlist' option when double pressing on the video. Although I prefer a visual indicator as mentioned above.

Why do you want this feature?

As of now, I have to constantly check the playlist to see if a video is already added to it. If not, the same video is added twice to the playlist without any notification.

Which playlist? Any playlist? Or a special playlist?

In my case, the custom playlist to which I bookmark videos for future viewing.

One should be able to make out just by looking at the feed that a video has been added to a playlist.

Or do you want this only for a single special "Watch Later" playlist?

I would like all playlists to be checked. If the video is part of multiple playlists, then feed could include say - numeric indicator like 1,2,3 next to the thumbnail. Based on feedback from other users, more customization could be added later.

My requirement is limited to fresh (less than 24 hours) or recent videos only (last 3-4 days). I have single playlist where I add all videos that I need to watch later.

My original request was 'watchlist' indicator and that didnt yield any relevant result. Therefore I posted this feature request.

#4186 been cold for 2 years. Seen similar requests as well.
Hoping it will be implemented in the next iteration.

I find this idea useful too. To know from a glimpse that you already have some found video bookmarked is natural = on Youtube you have a mark that video is in one of your playlists, and clicking that mark allows to see which playlist exactly, or change one.
And yes, i often find myself with multiple times added same videos, 'cause i simply forgot i already added one a week ago.

To add to the issue, we need an implementation of the YouTube feature that shows what playlists a video is in.

As of now, the 'Already added' notice is implemented, good.

But how about a 'Remove from playlist' option? What if I want to remove the currently playing video from my playlist?
To do this in the YouTube app, I can simply click on 'Save', then simply untick the checkbox next to the playlist name.
