elite-c.js constants assume horizontal mounting

I apologize if this question, coming from a position of ignorance, is a time-waster. I notice that in /footprints/elite-c.js, top/left/bottom/right in the spacing constants are POV-relative based on the MCU being mounted horizontally. Is that an issue? Also, to what pins do the pin_to_... constants refer, and to which pads and via?
