Trello animation while dragging

Right now if I try to add some css style to the element while dragging, the style applies just only for the element source, not the element that is dragged with the cursor.

I looking for a way to add css styles to the element while dragging, so we can add a Trello like animation to the element.

You can just use css "transform" while item is moving?
