Requirements

Event Demographics

  • This event commits to Event Diversity and Inclusion.

    • A Demographic information is collected solely for the purpose of compiling, analyzing and disclosing aggregate statistics regarding diversity of attendance at our events, to help track progress towards meeting our commitment to diversity initiatives. I have left some points unanswered, as I am not sure about them:

  • Text input: It appears that you provide one for Ethnicity, but not for Gender
  • Speaker inclusivity: It is not clear from your answer if you plan to send the survey to speakers as well.

If you have more details to share on the above, I'd be happy to change my evaluation.

For the text input we provide a dropdown of the following selections: Prefer not to answer, Woman, Man, Other Gender Identity.

The survey will be sent to all co-lo event participants - speakers, attendees, sponsors, etc.

Thanks for the reply, I have updated my evaluation.

In the future it's probably worth adding a text box to the Gender question as well, for people to self-identify.
