If the git source tree is also the install destination, then the index.html file doesn't need to be copied. Trying to do so anyway causes a cp error.

I have a fix that basically puts a bunch of cp commands into conditionals (only executed when CDN_PREFIX / PREFIX is not the local directory). Might be possible to do this with less code.
