This CF feature is really important for connecting apps to existing databases. We should have a User Provided (or Connection Info, or Existing Credentials) option in the Create Service Instance > Select Service list.

Any update on this and why it was removed from the v2-next roadmap? Would love to see this feature.

Hi @cwb124! We previously had this feature in v1 of Stratos and would have liked it to hit v2 soon after that release. It's however been bumped out a bit due to current priorities. I don't think we have any current plans to look at this within the next few months. I'll bring it up again with @troytop and @nwmac and see if there's any change.

Any update on this feature request? Doesn't seem to be scheduled and would be really useful.

My users are clamoring for this. The PCF apps manager has this feature and as we try to create feature parity between PCF and OSCF in our enterprise, the lack of user provided services is the glaring delta between our GUI offerings.

@mymasse @cwb124 Sorry for the slow response. We've taken a look at this today and have a path forward. It might not make it into the next release but we're hoping to have something implemented by the following one.

Really appreciate you considering it for the roadmap and working towards it. I think it will be a very welcomed feature.

@cwb124 Just wanted to confirm with you that we've completed all of the known user provided service tasks and the feature will be in the next release (planned for end of this month). With it you should be able to create, edit and delete user provided service instances and view them in the main Services list as well as the new space user provided service instance list.

Awesome news. I just saw some of the new Stratos hotness from Troy at the CF summit. Cool cool stuff coming, especially with container endpoints. Appreciate all the work. Hoping we can get some traction on Comcast's open source fellowship program to start putting resources to improving Stratos.
