Just wanted to if there is any way to run this in Windows 11 using wsl or directly in windows terminal
The text was updated successfully, but these errors were encountered:
I use bitcracker with WSL on Windows 11.
Follow the instructions here https://docs.nvidia.com/cuda/wsl-user-guide/index.html to set up Ubuntu in WSL.
Sorry, something went wrong.
Thanks for the reply @Caveman8080 how long did it take to crack any HDD and what is the success rate?
I have yet to crack the one recovery password for a USB drive I lost the password for.
But, I use a modified version of the recovery password generator to make a single wordlist with 100 million random candidates.
With my RTX 4090 at 1 thread and 256 blocks, I can get around 10,000 passwords/sec or run though the list in a little over 2 and a half hours.
