Thread content not showing in main view #23857

Outcome

What did you expect?

The last message of the thread to be shown in the main page

What happened instead?

It didn't show the message. Seemed like empty threads. When hitting 'reply in thread' the thread opened in the panel on the right, and also the last preview messages appeared in the main view.

This might have been fixed by matrix-org/matrix-js-sdk#2996 (as it looks like this is a duplicate of #24036)

I'm unable to reproduce this ever since matrix-org/matrix-js-sdk#2996 got merged, could you please try reproducing this?
