I like to select all matches of some selected text using Cmd+d, then edit all of those lines at the same time. This unfortunately does not work with unicode symbols for which I press Tab to autocomplete the symbol, see video which attempts to replace multiple sqrt with unicode :

Instead of replacing all instances at the cursors, only the first instance is replaced.
