Hi,

I would find very useful to be able to draw rectangles with different colors in the background of the workflow design interface. This would enable to compartmentalize the different parts of a workflow. It would be nice to be able to give it a title and to reduce it. This will make easier workflow development IMHO.

thx

That might be a neat way to create and display subworkflows as well, I think that could work.

One could imagine doing this with subworkflows some how, which would be an existing and clean abstraction for different "subunits" of a workflow. It does not currently display all of the tools within the subworkflow but that's a UI issue.

I have always missed this feature as well. I would prefer that I can change the colour of each box separately (for example a drop down menu under the label and annotation fields). If the colour is dependent on subworkflows I see myself spending lot of time in creating subworkflows and setting them together just in order to change the colour of a few boxes...

Changing the colors of the boxes is indeed a very good idea. Probably easier to implement too
