Describe the bug
There is a problem with the Red Hat Display (Static) TTF font; the Bold version doesn't work and seems corrupt.
To Reproduce
It can be installed, but programs like Illustrator can't use it. It doesn't show in the dropdown of available variants.
Expected behavior
The font should simply render and show in the Illustrator.
Screenshots
Additional context
Using the latest stable version of Illustrator 29.1.

thank you @svdm83, I'll take a look!
Sorry, something went wrong.
Hi @svdm83,
Sorry but I can't reproduce it, mine works great, both in Indesign and Illustrator. Which version are you using?
Hi @emmamarichal
Thank you for checking it out.
I'm using all the latest versions.
I just removed all versions of Red Hat Display from my (windows 11) computer. Downloaded it fresh from Google Fonts and installed it.
And I found it's an Illustrator bug, because it does show as it should in all other software. This is Illustrator version 29.3.1:
Which leads me to believe it's an Illustrator bug and not so much a problem with the font.
I had some issues with the menu too on Adobe, it's probably an issue from their side. How the variable font is working?
Is it working on Indesign?
