Checklist

  • I have updated to the latest available Home Assistant version.
  • I have cleared the cache of my browser.
  • I have tried a different browser to see if it is related to my browser.
  • I have tried reproducing the issue in safe mode to rule out problems with unsupported custom resources.

Describe the issue you are experiencing

This is some weirdness using Chrome or EDGE when doing something that requires "next" "cancel" buttons.
I was adding some automations into my system, and when I tried to add them - and my screen on my laptop is 1920x1080 (my standard laptop screen), there is no way to be able to hit the "save" or in fact - anything lower on the screen.
I cant scroll or even minimize the screen... it just doesn't allow me to click.. I even tried "autohide" the taskbar.

I then subsequently wanted to add items to my dashboard and selected what card they were going to be added to...but I couldnt select "next"... until I minimised the screen - which DID allow me to select it.

I suspect developers dont see this as they likely use extemely large desktops - thus a higher resolution that will show this... but it is very annoying when I am just doing some simple PC usage.
simply moving the buttons up about 10pt might help the problem but not resolve it.

Describe the behavior you expected

I would be able to either use the slider bar or move the title bar up... but you cannot do either.
some screens you can minimise the window and force a slider bar (ie.. adding button to a group) but automations it doesnt wrk at all.

Steps to reproduce the issue

  1. set resolution to 1920x1080
  2. open automations
  3. add "Create Automation" (you cant click from this screen you need to resize/minimise to fix this)
  4. Now try and click "Save" (you must resize/minimise/scroll to get to this)

I don't think it's an issue of developers using large screens, it should flex correctly down to the tiniest window.

Almost just looks as if your browser is somehow stuck behind your taskbar at the bottom. Have you tried moving the window around a bit, what happens if you move it away from the taskbar?

May be the taskbar is hiding automatically?
