My preference would be to get some of these ppl together and create an official chart, this was more meant as a public place to collect them

would you be interested in helping with an official kubernetes chart? There seems to be interested/confused users and the core team lacks the knowledge to create proper charts. If there are things that should be changed in core to make it easier I am more than willing to help with it, k8 is just not something I use in production.

@matmair I can certainly help. As commented in another topic, I do consider helm charts superior to "ordinary" manifests so let's proceed with the foundation @Frankkkkk has made 🤞

With pleasure! Give me some days/a week and I can try to make a pr with a helmchart inspired by by the 3 repos :-)

That is really great! I would have imagined that we keep the charts in a separate repo in the InvenTree org. That way we can you / anyone else that wants help more rights on the repo as rights for InvenTree/InvenTree are pretty tightly controlled

There also seems to be already quite some work done regarding the helm chart.

Interesting. I was monitoring the other repo as I hadn't yet the time to work on it. I'd advocate for a separate repo though, makes things simpler :)

Seperate repo makes sense yes. The one I posted also was several month ago and nothing happened anymore I think. But maybe some bits and pieces might be useful :)
