I do not know if this is a Windows only thing or not

with libmpv as playback engine - the detach mode became very buggy on both gnu/linux and windows. So had to deprecate it on those systems. Currently It is working mainly on OSX.

I think, the mode works well with mpv binary as playback engine - which is supported on linux based distros.
