Should I include Olympic Games football? #3

Oh, I don't know.

How can I easily separate them from "real" football? Just filtering the tournament "Olympic Games" out is easy enough but I'm guessing they play pre-tournament friendlies too. And, would a random person using the data know to filter these games out? They wouldn't.

Should I include them anyway if I don't even consider it "real" football?

Remaining questions:

  1. Was the football played in the Olympics pre-1930 top international football?
  2. Even if some countries didn't participate (England), were the squads of the participating countries the best possible?
  3. There are definitely a bunch of pre-Olympics friendlies in the database right now - what now?
