Would be awesome if we could have additional repository for container images.

Since Docker introduced limits updating become a real pain on vps-es:

@Pshemas hello! I don't know exact use case, however, alternate registry does not appear as the solution to the root cause of the problem. In other words, when you hit the rate limit of other OCI storage provider, what would be your action plan, to mirror image to a 3rd, 4th, ... provider? It may sound unrealistic, however, it will happen if/when your product scales. That said, how about a well crafted powerful caching solution built by the top-notch expert to address the docker hub limitations: https://spegel.dev ?
