Yes, even as a Devkit member with access to the source code, you are still required to purchase a theme for each myshopify.com url. We must adhere to Shopify’s terms of service and licensing requirements, which mandate that every store using our themes in production have its own valid theme store purchase. Devkit grants access to the source code for development and customization, but a theme purchase is necessary to legally use the code in production.
