Overview

The Performance Roadmap including all tasks for our next perf release including improvements for State Root Task and enabling Sparse Trie and State root task for L2.

Objectives

  • reduce newPayload latency by 50% for L2
  • include feedback from community after integrating first iteration of State Root Task w/ v1.2.0 release
  • refactoring & simplications to further improve performance
  • increased test coverage
