hello. i care to use pattern lab to demo react components. amidst the huge amount of documentation floating around patternlab, the docs have not given me clarity on how I could start building react components and have them rendered into patternlab's static site.

  • is there a good entry point for learning how to do this?
  • what barriers exist preventing patternlab from being the holy grail?

this is a hot-topic of late - with a number of people interested in it. @geoffp have you had a chance to resurrect this recently?

is there a good entry point for learning how to do this?

react rendering would take the form of a react engine. you can see the other engines here

engines most interact with the core/lib/pattern_engnines.js file and the Pattern object found in the object_factory

I'd be lying if I said I knew a lot about react, but agree this would be an attainable and welcome addition to the family. Should we just create the engine repo already and get to work?
