Checklist

  • I made sure that there are no existing issues - open or closed - which I could contribute my information to.
  • I have read the FAQ and my problem isn't listed.
  • I'm aware that this is a request for Tubular itself and that requests for adding a new service need to be made in vanilla NewPipeExtractor.
  • I have taken the time to fill in all the required details. I understand that the feature request will be dismissed otherwise.
  • This issue contains only one feature request.
  • I have read and understood the vanilla NewPipe contribution guidelines.

Feature description

I apologize in advance for my bad English.
Please add a gesture to switch to full screen mode.
Swipe up on the screen to expand the video to full screen. Swipe down on the screen to exit full screen mode.

Why do you want this feature?

I really miss this gesture. It makes the app much easier to use. Now you have to aim at the small button for full screen. And if you press back to exit full screen, the video pauses. It's inconvenient.
Those who need it can disable brightness and sound gestures in the settings and enable the full screen gesture.

Why ist the feature relevant to this fork?

TeamNewPipe/NewPipe#9683
This topic has been discussed many times on the original NewPipe. There are many duplicates with the same requests. But this request is ignored.
