Google introduced the new major release of the GMS SDK. Updates.

NOTE: The main change for the users of the Prebid GAM Event handlers or Prebid AdMob adapters is that they must update minSdkVersion from 21 to 23.

For updating the SDK should:

  • Increase min Android version for Event Handlers and AdMob Adapters modules.
  • Update Gradle.
  • Update Kotlin version to 2.1.0.
  • Apply new GAM version to the release POMs.
  • Rewrite depracated methods.
  • Test Prebid SDK with the new version of GAM and AdMob.
