The function tools::undoc returns:

 An object of class ‘"undoc"’ which is a list of character vectors
 containing the names of the undocumented objects split according
 to documentation type.

So even if the package has no errors, man_message will return FALSE, and so devtools::check_man does not print "No issues detected"
