Feature Request: Add Kernel Keyring Integratio

Would it be possible to use the Linux kernel its key retention service? So no keys in userland, SoftHSMv2 would use calls like KEYCTL_PKEY_SIGN and KEYCTL_PKEY_ENCRYPT instead.
