The card requires linux kernel 6.13.5 with split lock detect off, Mesa 25, and the latest linux firmware.

Wendel from level 1 provided information in his post.

Mesa 25 should be in testing now
rebase to testing so we can find out if we need more stuff added

to switch run this in the terminal
brh rebase testing

to switch back to stable use
brh rebase stable

If you get stuck for some reason you can hold ESC at boot (if you get taken to a grub> prompt type normal and press enter to get back to the boot menu) and select your ostree:1 entry and once booted run rpm-ostree rollback to go back to the previous image which would be the stable image and please report to us.

@HikariKnight thanks for the heads up ! No luck though, after rebasing to testing on my dual screen setup, the display wired to the RX 9070 XT still has the same behavior as in stable, looks like a firmware issue

Single display (edid emulator) headless streaming rig here, all seems to be working from some quick testing, will report back if I see anything weird!

Someone fixed a similar issue by setting their display color accuracy to "Prefer Efficency" instead of "Prefer Accuracy"

you can boot ostree:1 change the setting, run sudo ostree admin pin 1 then rebase back to testing (not reboot to ostree:0) that should hopefully work around it

@HikariKnight it works, thank you for the workaround !
I can confirm the graphical acceleration in games is working now (tested on Sea of Thieves)

Tried the testing branch with 9070 xt, no issues in any game i've tried, demanding or not. Too bad there is no driver frame generation on linux tho

I found one problem though, but I'm not sure if it was there before, since i've installed bazzite after getting 9070 xt.
Remote play does not change resolution to streaming client and audio is still playing on the bazzite host.

Edit. Actually, I found a game that crashed the driver: Pinball FX. It starts, i select the table, game tries to load and bah - black screen, monitor is shutting down.
One time it hanged the whole system, the second time just game and steam and i saw this notification:

Desktop effects were restarted due to a graphics reset
