File no longer accessible after long time inactivity

I’m experiencing an issue with my encrypted VeraCrypt volume after a long period of inactivity on my laptop (approximately one day). EDIT: I’ve noticed that the issue occurs after my PC enters sleep mode (or possibly hibernation) for some time.

While I can open the folder and see the files in the volume, I’m unable to open the files themselves. When I try, the associated programs display an error saying they "cannot read this file." To regain access, I have to dismount all mounted volumes and enter my password again.

One of the affected volumes is my system favorite volume, which I cannot dismount directly in VeraCrypt. To resolve this, I must reboot my PC and re-enter my password. When this happens, restarting my laptop could take an hour, unless I long press the power button

I’ve already tried disabling the auto-dismount feature (screenshot: https://vgy.me/delete/ed1b739a-02c4-4e14-a0a6-1bddd7a3c910)

Steps to reproduce

  1. having a system favorite volume or standard encrypted volume and encrypt system partition
  2. enters sleep mode or hibernation mode and do not use the laptop for a long time
  3. check if text file in that volume can be opened
