Consider a (ordered or unordered) markdown list. On pressing tab to indent the item, if the item spans over more than one line, then the text of the item alters. See the below gif.
This behaviour is not observed when the list item does not extend to the next line. This can also be seen in the gif.
NOTE - for easy identification, i have bolded different points and italicized different lines of the same point
This problem is not observed when the md-writer package is disabled.
Please rectify this immediately as most of notes have been corrupted at various places because of this issue.

But I observed one thing - the cursor jumps to the end of item after indenting. I think its better if it stays put where it was; I might indent the list item either by being at the beginning of the item or in the middle and might want to continue editing the line. This sudden shift of cursor to the end of the item is bit disorienting.
