Spotify AdBlock

To avoid dependency issues when installing from AUR, as we are already using spicetify-cli, we can install it's marketplace.

Installation

 curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/spicetify/marketplace/main/resources/install.sh | sh 

Usage

1. Click the cart button
   

2. Search Extensions: adblock
   

3. Click "Install"

4. Reload

Viola 🎊🎊

Spicetify will handle updates for everything eg extensions and themes. There's a less tendency that installation of spicetify-marketplace will break on spicetify-cli updates.

Auto paste on selection (for clipboards, and *-pickers)

To enable auto pasting, we can emulate ctrl v (pasting) shortcut.
A package wtype should be installed.

1. Install "wtype"

yay -S wtype 

2. Use the clipboard, and the pickers normally.

BTW @dieBakterie this not the correct thread for suggestions. maybe create a different one. This Discussion panel should be used to showcase some stuff that are already working. I will hide this thread to unclutter .

SDDM Hyprland

This repo don't want to handle X11 stuff. And maintaining a systemwide configuration for sddm is not an option. As a side effect this repo sddm-hyprland was introduced.

Hyprland is not inteded to be used as a compositor for a login/display manager (undocumented).But this approach works, better than any x11 config patch.

Known Issue

• I don't know how to change cursors properly.
• If hyprland won't start you'll get a black screen. But you should be able to navigate the TTY.

So we are switching from sddm to sddm-hyprland right?

I just want to gather users and testers. Anyone using hyprland release should have no problem with rendering, as hyprland-git only had those issues.
