@Murmele, managing (cloning in my case) multiple repositories sequentially. I only want to see the list during those moments, because my screen has a lot on it.

@Murmele, I also forgot the most important use case - my postmarketOS-based FP4, which has a long, thin display. I want to be able to manage my repositories on it, because I use Git like OneDrive.

I plan to remove the sidebar completely and replacing it by a tab. So it does not waste space

@Murmele, whatever the underlying widget used, please continue to allow it on the sidebar. The current tree-view sidebar on the left is brilliant when you have 20 or so repositories. There's no horizontal method of navigation that could replace it.

All I need currently is for it to be collapsible, or for whatever that replaces it to retain the current functionality.
