You need DeDRM 10.0.9: https://github.com/noDRM/DeDRM_tools/releases/tag/v10.0.9 Serial numbers only work for E-ink Kindle books, not Kindle for PC. |

I will double check the version but I just downloaded it today. If 10.0.9 is not the latest version then perhaps I don't have that version. I did load the KFX Input plugin. I only included the E-Ink Kindle S/N because I was unsure if it would be needed.

Do you have the KFX Input plugin?

Yes, ver. 10.0.3 is what I had. I removed that plugin and loaded the 10.0.9 version. All is well.
Thanks very much .

Log showed 10.0.3 which is the latest "stable" release. You want at least the beta 10.0.9. There is also an alpha release which is absolute latest code.

I think that I have followed the bouncing ball here, including installing the older 2.4.0 version of Kindle for PC. I downloaded my entire library to Kindle for PC earlier and after downgrading to 2.4.0 the books would not open. After deleting and re-downloading the book in question opens normally. Calibre with the DeDRM plugin still will not remove DRM. The 'keys' required are something I am unsure I have right. I did plug in the S/N for my old eInk tablet, which I was not sure was needed. I also added the 'default' key that appeared for Kindle for PC. Is there something that I missed? The log file is attached.
