At the moment, the catalogue for the example notebook is an internal EC product. For release, we need to replace it with a public file. We could generate this, e.g., with GLASS. For hosting, there are options like, e.g., Zenodo.

Update the example notebook for a public audience.  Replaces the
internal data with an example data set hosted on [Zenodo].

Also a lot of minor cleanup of the notebook.
