GitHub can detect and provide rudimentary syntax highlighting for IDL files using the .webidl-extension. The extension is currently also used within the Servo project. With this pull request, I'm suggesting that we move to use the .webidl extension instead of .idl.
This will be a breaking change (unless we'd like to support both extensions), so it should preferably be published in the same version as the breaking changes of #68 (comment). Provided that this gets merged, I will put together corresponding pull requests for jsdom and related packages.
