Hi Harm, as you may have heard the ESP8266 board platform for the Arduino IDE was recently updated from v2.3.0 to v2.4.0, which caused some problems (see Issue #58). Also, @dmasek had asked about some enhancements to the esp8266_webinterface example sketch (see Issue #64). Please merge as you see fit.
