• I have created a new browser profile with only uBO and its default settings, and confirmed the issue still occurs in that new profile

• I updated uBO to the latest versions (1.62.0+)

• I removed custom config / reset to defaults. <== This means removing your custom filters (or disabling My filters) and disabling ALL additional lists you have enabled MANUALLY, including the ones listed by uBO. DO NOT disable DEFAULT filter lists. It might be quicker to make a backup of your config and restore to defaults instead.

• I completely disabled ALL other extensions AND browser's built-in blockers. <== They might interfere with our solutions. However, DO NOT disable "Firefox Multi-Account Containers" add-on.

• Edge: Click on "lock" icon at the left of URL bar -> Turn off Tracking Prevention

• I did not remove any of the default filter lists, or I have verified that the issue was not caused by removing any of the default lists.

• I verified the issue does not exist if I turn off uBO.

When reporting, please tell exactly which BROWSER you are using, which METHOD you are testing and DESCRIBE the steps to reproduce the issue in details, including the URLs where you see the issue.

Then, enable them one-by-one and see which one caused it.

@somebody0278 Can you do these steps (follow strictly the step order, don't mix the steps orders, or skip any steps):

1. Click on uBO icon > ▤ "The logger" icon, it will open a logger window
2. Open new tab and reproduce the issue
3. Switch to the logger window that was opened in step 1, click on search bar, choose blocked
4. Copy the logger via 📋 export/copy button at the top right
5. Paste the logs here

I've tried all combinations and none of them worked. I tried most of the filters at the first 5 videos because its where the issue occur.

What happens if you turn off uBO? Let the ads play and continue to let the main video play the whole video.

Overlay on YouTube Mobile Registered Shopping Videos Preventing Autoplay

Issue:

When playing videos registered as shopping videos on YouTube's mobile site (m.youtube.com), an overlay appears that displays "ショッピングしますか？" (in Japanese) or "Ready to shop?" (in English).

This overlay prevents the video from autoplaying and requires a manual tap to start playback.

Example:

Attempted Solutions:

I used the following filters to hide the overlay:

While these filters will successfully hide the overlay, the video will still not autoplay - it will still require a manual tap.

You should probably rework the way this “thread” works, because from the time I've been following this, it's not working. You're constantly warning people to follow the first post, but most don't even pay attention to that, apparently.

My suggestion would be to redirect the purpose of this post to an individual repository dedicated to these messages/posts. Instead of writing everything in a single thread, people could create “issues” individually, and then you'd be able to categorize or organize the different problems/issues/messages better.

The repository would only serve to do what is done in this topic in a more organized way and nothing more, and you could lock this place by telling people to write their issue in the dedicated repository.

I hope I've helped, and feel free to delete this message if you prefer. I won't send a message like this again in respect of what you ask for in the first post.

I don't have enough time to manage other repos. If people can't read the title of this thread, there's no guarantee I can make people to follow instructions in a whole separate repo.

And sorry, I don't have enough free time to put more efforts in administrative stuff (categorizing, organizing...) in a whole other repo.
