[Download the installer] (https://github.com/modulogrc/modSIC/downloads) and double click it to begin the installation.

The welcome screen will appear. Click "Next".

Startup installations

Accept the terms in the license agreement and click "Next".

Select the location for the installation files and click "Next".

Install path

Browse to your certificate file and enter the certificate password. Enter a port (by default the server will be installed on port 1024). If your machine has more than one network interface, you can enter the IP address of the interface to which you want modSIC to listen.

Certificate install

ATTENTION: The provided sample certificate should only be used for test purposes. Using your own certificates (from your CA servers, for example) will avoid certain security issues. Click "Install" to begin the installation.

Ready to install

Click "Finish" to close the screen.

Resume

Common Issues and Warnings:

In certain scenarios modSIC is currently having issues with Windows UAC. If you received an "Acess Denied" error during modSIC installation, please follow the steps below:

  • Open Windows Command Prompt with administrative privileges.
