CentOS 8 went EOL mid-January. To ensure maximal disruption for everybody else, they have also moved the repository, breaking the CentOS docker container as a result.

So it's time to shelf the official installation instructions for CentOS. I've not yet made up my mind about a replacement. Our relation with CentOS has always been difficult at best and the unclear future of the successors does not help to improve the situation.
